Tragically beautiful film. I loved the black and white, with the occasional color mixed in to draw the eye. What makes it more powerful is knowing that it was a true story. This is definitely one of my favorites.

Certainly deserves all the accolades it got, however, if it comes to picking the best Spielberg Epic Tragedy Drama - I would pick 'Amistad' over this one.
