One great film.It was brilliant how this movie was extrapolated from Conrads book the Heart of Darkness.The charachters take on a larger than life,symbolic aura and there is a spooky,mythical quality that permeates the film.Some parts are very realistic while others are surreal-which for me ADDS to the overall effect.The use of music from the Viet Nam era lent even more of an authentic atmosphere to this classic.
