To paraphrase Sherman, if I owned Ontario and Hell, I'd rent out Ontario and live in Hell.

There are actually two Ontarios, one in the north and one in the south. Geologically, politically and socially they are no more alike than Greenich Village and Biloxi, Mississipi.

As far as I'm concerned, a volcanic eruption would improve Toronto and environs no end. The north can be majestic, particularly around the shores of Lake Superior.

Bland and boring, Ontario has no mountains or exciting natural wonders...Niagara falls is the tackiest tourist trap ever...There is a bit of wildlife well hidden behind the sprawling monstruosity of Toronto but it is not worth visiting. People here are mostly proud of their losing hockey teams and of the amount of beer they can chug. A dumb Ontario law forbids them from buying beer on sunday...Duh...

Lots of stuff to do here: Toronto, Niagara Falls, 1000 Islands.

Some nice cities like Ottawa, Toronto, and Kingston to visit, politically very progressive. Otherwise Ontario is a lot like it's neighboring Great Lakes states (Michigan, Wisconsin etc......) with a lot forests, lakes, farmland and industrial cities.

The only province in Canada which would pass as being an American State. Had an awesome time while there; very lively and fun! It's very multicultural, has almost half of Canada's population and is the business and entertainment center of Canada! On the flipside, there are some smog problems especially in the big cities but overall Ontario deserves my 5 stars. Thumbs Up Ontario!

Ontario like Virginia and the Carolinas is the bastion of British Civilization in British America. They fly the Union Jack, the Flag of the British Empire - the sentinel of Freedom and Democracy. The only problem with Ontario is that it is scarred of Quebec, so the wealth of Ontario flows into Quebec to keep Quebec going. Ontario - stand up and be counted. It is time to stand up to Quebec! Don't let the tyrants walk all over you! Sic Semper Tyannis! Remember Robert E. Lee!!!

Too much government bull going on here. Minimum wage should be higher. Other than that, it's a nice place to live, lots of lakes,fishing,sports, and attractions.

Born and Raised in Southern Ontario. Its a great place to grow up. Lots of adversity.

Climate too harsh. People are not as nice as in the rest of Canada. Not an awful lot of things to see.

I was there 2 years ago. My second time if you count the time I went when I was 3. It's actually very nice. Bigger then I'm used to, but still nice. I visited my uncle and cousins up there in Oshawa, and I went to MarineLand and Niagra Falls. The Falls are beautiful, but unfortunatly, we went at the time the Pope was there so we got an extra 20000 people there. MarineLand is of course awesome. I love marine life especially whales, so I had a great time. We also stopped in Cornwall, which is quite beauiful. I saw New York for the first time. Didn't go through Toronto, just the outskirts, but I saw big buildings.Wanted to see the ACC (Air Canada Center) but couldn't. All in all, I had an awesome trip. Ontario is beautiful!

Pretty nice place, though there are too many people in the golden triangle and too few people everywhere else. Kingston is a great town, Ottawa is beautiful and historic, London has cool people, Windsor is within gloating distance of Detroit, and Toronto thinks that they're the centre of the goddamn universe. Of course, to get to southern Ontario from the west, you have to either drive through the states or go through 2000 km of absolutely nothing. Also, it's kind of in bad taste for anyone in Canada outside of Ontario to say nice things about the place, hence the 2 out of 5.

CN Tower, Skydome, this province is great!! It has good weather and their are many things to do. Awesome downtown clubs, and awesome parks.

Ontario is fabulous! The attractions, the way the residents act toward tourists, the scenery...it all falls into place perfectly, like the pieces of a jigsaw puzzle. Toronto is a great city with a pretty cool baseball team, and you are made to feel welcome no matter where you are. Unless, of course, you are one of those nuts who thinks Canada is nothing more than a US colony :-( Oh, and by the way, find some chance to eat at Medieval Times! It's this great restaurant with staged knight fights...sort of like prowrestling only it's even better. Overall, Ontario is fabulous. Take care, everyone!

Can't blame the province for the people that live there. Freakin' Canaiens... A couple of nice cities in Ottawa and Toronto. 1000 Islands and Kingston are nice tourist places. O Canada how you rock!
