02/23/2006 | In California, we actually get tax breaks for installing alternative energy systems, and they are just now developing solar technology compatible with the grid, so you may actually send power into the system which forces the utility companies to compensate you (they hate that with a passion!).

The more solar panels you have the more energy you can make for yourself, and if you have more than you need you can sell it to your republican neigbours. The solar panels quickly pay for themselves through what you save and what you make off of the energy wasting lunatics next door!
