Consistently fine bluesman. No one has carried the torch better through many decades of blues. He should be way more popular.

Buddy Guy is a technically superb guitarist who is able to convey the deepest feeling of the blues while making it seem as natural as breathing. His recorded work is brilliant. In person, he is soul stirring. He is as good as there is!

We saw Buddy Guy at a music festival and he was amazing.

Legendary blues guitarist, one of the greatest living guitarists. I have some dvds of festivals he was in back in the day, and that guitar absolutely smokes, a big influence on people like Hendrix and Clapton...saw him in concert about 2 and a half years ago, great show and he's still got it.

Buddy Guy is a better guitarist than 3/4 of the people on this list. Take a listen folks!

Saw him at a blues festival and was not impressed.playing style lathargic, except the crowd oohed and ahhed when he used his guitar cord to smack against his strings to play some nonsense.still baffled as to why he is so revered

The hero of Jimi, Eric, and a host of others. A head and shoulders above B.B. King, both Alberts (King and Collins). The Babe Ruth of Chicago blues and the most under appreciated guitarist of all time. Can play with anybody and mop up the floor with most. Buddy God!!!! They don't make 'em any better than this.

A master. He bends strings like few others have done, and his range and smoothness is unsurpassed.
