Sooo mellow. Nice quiet guitar - unlike many of Hendrix's work. A near-great song. . .but it's simply good compared to his other 5-star hits.

This is kind of a slow, sulky song about a spat with a girlfriend. There is some nice lyrical work exemplified by mentions about footsteps dressed in red and a broom drearily sweeping the pieces of yesterday's fight. This song doesn't rock like Purple Haze Or Foxey Lady but it has some nice moments.
