05/22/2006 | Incendiary live track that the trio played at The Monterey Pop Festival, interestingly, of the six or so tunes they played there, more than half of them were covers- "Hey Joe," "Rock Me Baby," "Like A Rolling Stone," and this famous Troggs number, which Jimi was a huge fan of. I read an account from one of his numerous girlfriends in a biography of him in which the girlfriend stated that Hendrix ran out of the shower to listen to the Troggs track when he first heard it on the radio.
