12/22/2006 | A rare, exquisite gem of a song that I wish was so much longer than it actually is. Achingly beautiful. If there is such a thing as God, then Hendrix, at his best, was truly a musician touched by such an entity. I also enjoy the "Derek and the Dominoes" version, which is sadly underplayed. Still, it can't touch this version. Nothing much can.

01/03/2006 | Wonderful song. I usually don't like it when other people try to do Hendrix songs, but I have to admit Stevie Ray Vaugh did an awsome rendition of this song as well. Its not the original, but its no less powerful without copying the Hendrix style.
