True, now you have the ruthless Bush adminstration, which have probably done a lot of bad things most people don't know about, covert things that Bush & Co. have covered up.

Right. Not such a bad idea, if you're the king. Look where they were when the founding fathers were around (pre-eminent worldwide military and economic superpower) compared with their current world status today. Look what America was then, compared to today. They might think they blew it.
