To me, this is a really, really, weird show...but my kids on the other hand, love it!! I'm just wondering...are your kids so mesmerized by it that its hard to bring them back to reality??? My kids stare at the t.v. when this program starts and litarally freak when its over...they dont really pay attention to any other television show...my 2 yr old reaches out to the set...im a little worried... im kinda wondering if there are like subliminal messages....

Creator Anne Wood is a sicko. After seeing the Teletubbies, and seeing this I would wanna puke at this one more exponentially. I'm glad that my home city's 2 public channels are not airing this total waste. If this keeps going on the tube, I will not donate to PBS until futher notice.

The show is weird and it makes me sick. They make the teletubbies look intelligent.

Boohbah blows Teletubbies right out of the water for weirdest children's show. Not surprisingly it is made by the same people who brought us Teletubbies. The first time I saw it, I laughed out loud on numerous occasions. The beginning reminds me of an intense acid trip in-utero with rainbow colors, bizarre noises and the Boohbah's themselves farting their way out of their prenatal cocoons. Once on ground they perform exercises to music and show other children joining in. This show also features the Story People, a generic, multi-ethnical group of people that act out and solve silly problems on beaches and in meadows. For me, it is just weird. For my 15 month old daughters, it is the ultimate in entertainment. They laugh and shriek in happiness when the show begins and then watch it in rapt silence. I know Boohbah will probably get a lot of negative reviews, but remember, if you are old enough to write a review about it, you are too old for this show anyhow. This is strictly for the pre-school set and it appears to do a remarkable job keeping them entertained, therefore it gets four stars from me.
