According to George Lucas himself there will be no Episode 7. Fans need to quit reading crap off of the website of notorious Star Wars misinformation specialist Supershadow and quit talking about this.

I could handle them doing this if it were handed over to the right director. Lucas has clearly exhausted himself with this monstrosity and it needs a new look and feel.

it's over with. george has trampled the good name that is star wars enough with the jar jars and ewoks of the past. darth vader is dead. there is nothing left to milk out of the franchise.

Let's wait till 6 is out.

Though many people are against it, I would be very interested to see what happens after Episode 6. Maybe Luke Skywalker could train little kids to be Jedi since he's the only Jedi left. The special effects and score would be great but I just hope they could get a very good story.

Yes! Yes! Yes! PUT ME IN IT! PUT ME IN IT! PUT ME IN IT! ... That way I can help this sequel win the Best Picture.

It'd be cool to carry out the story and make Luke's and Leia and Han's children grow up, but they have to make the 3rd one first and get that hype overwith first, besides, to get the original actors back would be a job in itself, and it's no good without the original actors.

I would have liked to see this but judging by the quality of the latest Star Wars films, I might have to pass. George Lucas certainly lost in his touch in those long years in-between where he was cashing in millons on merchandising. However, maybe with a new director and definitely a new writer, it would be great.

I loved episodes four, five, and six. They were instant classics. Episodes one and two were so disappointing. I consider myself a huge Star Wars fan, but those films were so below the first three of twenty-plus years ago. On one hand, it would be impossible to match the great films that preceeded them, but you would hope some of the magic of those films could be added into this new series. Give it up, no 7 please.

I'm mixed over this one. George Lucas originally planned nine (yes, nine!) Star Wars films, but he waited too long after Return of the Jedi to make The Phantom Menace. 16 years worth of Howard the Ducks, Willows and Radioland Murders when he should have been doing the Star Wars films. He has said he won't make the last three because he'll simply be too old. My personal wish is that he writes the scripts for the last three and then turns them over to a more capable director, maybe Sam Raimi.

I might be slightly interested in this. I did like the original ones but wasn't thrilled with the more recent ones.

Oh, please don't encourage Lucas to push another one! Look what Episodes 1 & 2 did . . .
