no, the ring was destroyed already in the third one. Another L.O.T.R will be horrible. The first three were plenty. And even if there was another Lord of The Rings. It wouldn't be good at all

Nah -- there'd be nothing to base it on. They might make a movie off The Hobbit, but that would more or less be a prequel, not a sequel.

i agree with spikerat - you sound totally goth. i like that. i also like anything that is dead. i was thinking when we make lord of the rings 4 we should have lots of capes, ball and chains, and the ultimate black wizard. rick moranis could shrink schemgal into a spikerat and sacrifice him to gandolf, the black wizard. then cap and walt carlson could fly around on a black spaceship and drop black fire on the stupid trees. goth nation for life.

This is obvious that the cast is turning out to be great. With stars like lando, schmegel, capt. kirk as schmegel's voice, silent bob, and the wizard, this movie is looking to be a giant success!

This would be idiotic since the trilogy is based on the books- of which there are only three. It would be a disgrace for any screenwriter/director to try and make a sequel. However, I would be interested in seeing The Hobbit made into a movie.

I like the LOR trilogy - but I think three is plenty.

The book was a trilogy so it won't happen. Many would like to see it happen because the characters are so entertaining, but they have done everything that Tolkien gave them to work with.

This would be so awesome, but since there is no 4th book, then you really can't pull this off, unless you write a new one and get it copyrighted. I think a trilogy is good enough.

Since there were only three books I doubt there'll be a fourth story. That's why it's called a trilogy. And it seems unlikely that they will make a movie of the hobbit and call it number four.
