With the addition of the Intel Mac's they are by far the best computer on the market. You get a computer that is the best for use in graphics and music as well as it's ability to run both Mac OSX, Windows XP and Vista with no flaws,

elegant to see and work with. Never viruses (with any APPLE product, since our first in 1990). The hardware goes on forever (seemingly). Not expensive, because it begins with the best components, hardly necessary to upgrade hardware (except for memory, after need). Systems are inexpensive, frequent good uprades are free.... and ... very very USER FRIENDLY!!

I've got both formats. I always have a PC and a PowerMac in both my office and home study and I can say without reservation that there is no comparison !!!! The MAC is the far better computer format !!! PERIOD !!! My PC's have always constantly crashed and have been hacked and infected with numerous viruses inspite of my firewall. BUT MY MAC'S HAVE NEVER CRASHED,HAVE NEVER BEEN HACKED or HAVE NEVER BEEN INFECTED WITH A VIRUS OF ANYKIND !!!! And I don't have to put up with Bill Gates and all of his self serving, force fed Microsoft propoganda and security updates !!! And remember,Stephen Jobs and Apple INVENTED WINDOWS !!! Bill Gates and Microsoft stole it !!!

Used to be great? They are great. PC users can't see this because they're too busy running Adaware and Anti-virus software. People think Macs suck because they can't run Half-Life. But what makes them excel is because anyone can use a Mac and instantly know how to work it. A computer for the computer illiterate I must say. And because of the Unix core, it appeals to hardcore tweakers as well. Apple were great in the 80s because of Steve Jobs, well in 1997 Apple got him back and he's done nothing but good for the company. Personally I prefer laptops, but to each their own.

What drugs did the previous poster (DickWeener) take before posting? He is completely wrong, the newer apple products like the G5 (I own a dual G4) are absolutely incredible and a pleasure to work with. There are several years ahead of Microsoft in interface design and system security. I have both a PC and a Mac and I truly hate to use the PC, it gets on my nerves. The mac however, I love.

Apple use to be great back in the 80s and early 90s, they were the leaders and had the most powerful computers..... PC has took over where they left off, and has done wonderful things in the Computer world.... Mac is trying to catch back up....The apple has rotted to the core, no turning back.
