A true singer. That's how singer should sound. His voice is haunting, emotional, pure. He has a way to hit all the right notes at the right time and it's working wonderful to his advantage. Sadly, nowadays, with all the hip-hop crap, singers like Josh are overlooked and underrated.

Closer is a wonderful effort by Mr. Groban and company. Groban has an amazing range, at least three and a half octaves when we include his gorgeous falsetto. The challenging music on Closer demonstrates this beautifully as it takes Groban's voice to places we don't usually get to go to with the typical comtemperary album. His tone is rather amazing. It's warm and inviting and doesn't crack in the lower ranges or go thin in the upper ones. Groban also demonstrates his remarkable emotional range as he draws us in and takes on a ride, not just with the lyrics but with the melody and nuances he uses as well. The instrumentals are very well done and the violin solo by Joshua Bell is particularly pleasing. Well done, Mr. Groban, well done.

The best singer out there today and has the personality to take it all in stride. Josh is superb and will only get better! All of his cds are great and each gets better!!

Josh is the greatest!

Josh is an extremely talented performer, a gifted singer and performs songs with depth and emotion - he is the best performer out there! ADDED: This CD was even better than the first, I especially love listening to them back to back. When I am truly stressed or unhappy, listening to this CD helps me deal with anything that comes along. The CD is refreshing, passionate, thrilling, filled with emotion and such a pleasure to listen to over and over and over again. I don't ever get tired or bored with it!

Josh Groban has an INCREDIBLE gift. This is coming from an experience musician and vocalist. His voice is the best out there today. I'll admit that I like his first album more, but this one is still very good. He branches out from what he did on his first CD and experiments a little, and even does some writing. A really great collection from an AMAZING artist.

Speeking as an experienced vocalist, this guy has one of the finest if not THE finest instruments I've ever heard. I would kill to have a voice like that. Having said that, his music is OK. I've heard better, but he has the ability to make most of it sound at least good.

This CD is just AMAZING!!! A must listen for anyone looking for a great voice and interpreter of lyrics. He tells each story with passion.

Absolutely wonderful cd. This voice will transport you. Even if you don't speak Italian and Spanish, the voice and melody will have you entranced. (There are songs in English as well that are just as moving.) A must buy.

I love Josh and think that this CD is better than his first one though that one is very good too. There is great paasion and love in Josh's songs in his voice. Something that is really nice about Josh is still just 22 (almost 23) and he doesn't try to hide that fact. He sounds alot older but he looks 22 and still acts like it. He is very sweet, kind, funny has a smile to die for and voice that makes you melt plus very good looking. I'm a loyal fan of his for beyond the day I die.

This album is fantastic. It proves that he is able to write great music, Per Te, Remember When it Rained, and Never Let Go. He sings in French for the first time and it is great. Once you listen to this album, you will be hooked. He can touch the soul like no other artist.
