 | GeogriaZman (0) 03/24/2008 | The only people to give this venue a bad rating would be the idiots from: 1. Syracuse (CardiacCuse)because they have to pay players to to even visit upstate New York, 2. Philadelphia (Flyer fan) because "Filthadelphia" is the dirtiest city in America and the so called big 5 might not have 2 teams in the top 6 in the state, and 3. gay pride advocates (2521 pride)because there is not a rainbow flag hanging from the rafters. If the 2521pride is looking for some action, he should look in Philadelphia or Syracuse, he'll find lots of action those towns.

 | micrhawk (0) 02/08/2005 | Anyone who rates The Pete less than 5 stars simply has not been there. It doesn't matter where you are from or who you root for, you gotta give credit where credit is due... and it is due in Pittsburgh.

 | NCAA BASKETBALL GURU (0) 01/19/2005 | Peterson Event Center is simply amazing. I've been to all the great ones (Cameron Indoor, Allen Field house, Carrier Dome, UNC) but nothing compares to Petersen Event Center. No bad seat in the house, students are right on the top of the game. Absolutely incredibal atmosphere. The only way to experience it is to visit it. CUSE come to town 1-29-05.

 | Moe Szyslak (0) 10/30/2004 | I can't believe this place has this many negative ratings. It is a beautiful facility, Pitt only has 1 loss when playing there.

 | rjmst80 (0) 04/05/2004 | A beautiful state-of-art facility with great accomodations and not a bad seat in the house. All you negative posters are just haters (probably from WVU).

 | RatingExpert (0) 02/16/2004 | definitely one of the finest on campus college basketball Arena In the country. Perfect size arena where all seats get great view of the game. Equipped with comfortable individual seats. Whole arena equiped with state of the art technologies (b/c it's only 1 and a half years old). video screen scoreboard, which shows live game and replays. Definitely will not miss any actions of the game because all the hall ways in the entire arena are equipped with televisons within 20 ft. The lobby will blow anyone away. With a giant video screen (approx. 30x30ft)right infront of the entrance. No need to explain more. just go visit any website that has photos of Peterson Event center..

 | CardiacCusejhughes (0) 01/23/2004 | other than it being part of the Big East which is the best conference in all of sports, this arena is nothing special

 | m1970 (0) 01/22/2004 | This place is a nice on-campus facility with all the amenities expected from a new arena and more. The Pete is surprisingly intimate for a 12,500-seat arena. I guess it feels this way because it was designed specifically for basketball usage.
