 | Gentle Jude (23) 10/03/2005 | I fully agree with ClassicFan, I don't endorse any saying with swearing in it. A wise person wouldn't put a swear word in their sayings. I've never seen a swear word in the book of Proverbs! Besides, this saying encourages rebellion towards authority which is spoken against in the Bible, because we are all legally obliged to vote and not voting is breaking the law.

 | Merlin Ambrose (0) 01/16/2005 | Very funny, which makes the falsehood all the more pernicious. If you really believe there is NEVER anyone worth voting for, get out and recruit! * * * P.S. TO CTVFan: You almost certainly mean 4-letter words, aka obscenity and/or vulgarity, NOT profanity. (Tho damn is literally a 4-letter word and bitches is not--and SOBs doesn't really count as a word!) P.P.S. To PBeavr: E.g., Sturgeon's law, that 90% of everything is crud--where crud is regularly replaced by other 4-letter words, including crap and drek.

 | irishgit (138) 01/16/2005 | This comes from an elderly woman in the 1968 New Hampshire primary. A television crew was doing exit polling and caught her walking by the polling place. When they asked her who she was supporting, this is the answer they got. While I don't fully agree, there are certainly some elections where none of the above looks like the best choice.

 | ClassicTVFan47 (36) 11/25/2004 | 99.9% of phrases with profaniy in them are completely useless and deserve to be cast aside.
