10/03/2005 | That is mostly true, but there are sometimes when things are unfair. But even in those circumstances, the fact that you worked hard and got no where is far more likely to induce sympathy out of people then if you did little work. If people have sympathy for you, they are far more likely to help you.

08/06/2005 | Generally true, although I have met to phenomenally lucky people who are so lazy that if they were a dog they'd have to lean against a wall to bark.
And I've met a fair number of hard working unlucky people too.
