Even Bush himself has admitted that Saddam didn't have the weapons load that he thought he did during the onset of the war. The whole WMD issue came up as a result of the politicization of intelligence information--a small group of officials in the CIA, the Pentagon and even in the Office of the Vice President built up Saddam Hussein in order to give the public the perception that he was grave and imminent threat. Turns out that he was in a very weak position strategically. However it seems as if the Iraq War has weakened us. It really hurt our countries credibility in the world. That's important, that's what gives power to America's word. I think that Bush has always been inclined to invade Iraq: 9/11 gave him the political opportunity to do it. He cherry-picked the intelligence data that suited his purposes (even if it was 20 years out of date!) and presented it to the American people. The problem with Bush is that it is difficult for him to see anything objectively; he heard only what he wanted to hear. That in and of itself is worse than a merely lying

It's already been revealed, it's just that the media isn't making a big enough deal about it, and no one is listening anyway.

I wish this would happen, but it won't with the Republican Congress and the conservative media.
