then DEFINATELY friendship is better than sex.

If you love someone deeply, there is nothing better than sex.  Friendship is hard to compare with sex, but sex gets the edge with me...

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. For me that's not the case considering most of my friends don't ever call me back or are "too busy."

With the right person.

Sex feeds your intimate hunger, but friendship feeds your emotional, moral, and spiritual necessaties.

Friendship is one of the things that surpasses all material wealth. You cannot put a price on it because frienship is worth more than the riches of this world.

I don't think ANYTHING is better than Sex with someone you're in love with-but I'll take Friendship over having sex with a lady I'd rather just be friends with.Why jeaprodize a good thing for a few hours of pleasure?

It seems that a recent Animal Planet special made me change this one from three to four. such friendship can help you live longer on extreme conditions. The one I saw amazingly had a young lioness and a baby oryx (antelope) being friends for fourteen days and both of them did not eat during that time period. This is one of the rare examples that making friends with another species will keep you alive. Relating to us, making such a bond with somebody else or your pet by either friendship or love will be more beneficial than sex. We can get sex anywhere, but it is less enjoyable if your mate does not like you one bit.

Sex may please the flesh, but true friends are undoubtedly gratifying to the soul

Friends are sheep is wolves clothing just waiting for you to screw up so they can take advantage. They want and use you and give nothing in return. After they have used you for everything they can get from you, they toss you out like yesterdays newspaper. NO CONTEST, SEX IS WAY BETTER.

Sex gets a five, but so does friendship. Friendship's a different kind of fulfillment. It's very difficult to compare friendship and sex.

Not better than sex but probably more important in the long run.

Hmmm. This is a tough one. Is this a trick question? Good, loyal, reliable friends are a long term joy. Sex is more now oriented. You can have one without the other, but having both is best. Can I have both please?

Wouldn't know what to do without my friends, or sex for that matter, but the former is much more important than the latter.

I would value friendship over sex. I am happier with the friendship I share with my husband, and friends. I would miss friendship more.

I don't know about better, but at least equal. It's at its very best when your lover is also your friend.

The only two items on this list that seem to actually be BETTER than sex is this and love. Friends definately go first on the priority list over having sex.
