For some of Bob Geldof's accomplishments, the Rats should be heavily considered.

Geldoff is in the World Hall Of Fame for his humanitarian efforst but judging him solely on his music I dont think so. Granted the songs I've heard are cool, Geldoff's Boomtown Rats lack the longevity or impact to be considered.

Gildorf was the creator of Live Aid, that should get him inducteed into the rock hall.
