had some fine moments, a little soft but when they rocked, they had some good cuts.

Their music is missed, and should be available on cd everywhere so the new generations can appreciate them.

They're very much deserving of the Hall! Their sound is classic 70's California folk/rock. Their songs continue to stand the test of time. BUT -- they don't fit in with the liberal, Rolling Stone "in" crowd -- who consider L&M too lite and "yacht rock"ish. So, unfortunately, they won't make it in.

DESERVING? Now that is not the question, Why aren't they already in there?, now that is the question. Here you have two artist, that have been around making music, writing it,singing it, and taking it on the road and performing it for decades. How many artist can say that. They are sooooooooooo deserving, and it is such a shame that they have never had the due that they so much have earned. They have the hearts of all their fans, and that I assume is a place much more worthy of their incredible talent and gift.

I've been a fan of Loggins and Messina for over 30 yrs. Now how is that for longevity. The music is and always will be awesome. It's not just the music but the memories that it brings. Throughout my lifetime I have had this music comfort me, get my feet tapping and my body dancin. No one can write a song like Kenny Loggins and have it come from so deep in his Heart. To make a long story short, Loggins and Messina are the best, Kenny is an artist second to none, my kids love the stuff. I have never been to a concert that wasn't sold out, the music will go on far past some of the music of present day. Kenny and Jim rock the house.
