Not really familiar with their older material. I do not believe Poco was a major player in Country Rock. I would have to say Graham Parsons and the Byrds had much more to do with that. And songs like Call It Love in 1989 leave a lot to be desired.

Poco , in my estimation should be inducted into the Rock n. Roll Hall of Fame because they were the pioneers of country rock. If it wasn't for Poco you would'nt have the Eagles. Glen Frey even admits when they first started they wanted to be like Poco. Their musicianship is top notch and their vocals are excellent. They may not have had any huge hits, but they paved the way for many other groups who followed.
