Never have been overly impressed with their work. There are several bands in the U.S. and Europe that are more deserving of induction to the HOF than these guys.

Anybody who doesn't think Scorpions belong in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame clearly knows nothing about rock and roll or Scorpions. Look at some of the other bands that have made it. Blondie, ZZ Top, Lynyrd Skynyrd. Are you kidding me? Scorpions are INTERNATIONAL superstars. To this day they play in sold out arenas all over the world. Go to SE Asia and people have never heard of Led Zeppelin or the Rolling Stones, but if you mention Scorpions .... EVERYBODY knows them. Very few bands have had the world wide following that Scorpions have. ZZ Top is in the Hall of Fame and Scorpions arent?? Incredible !!! I would like to hear one legitimate argument of why ZZ Top should be in and not Scorpions. If it wasn't for their beards and MTV, nobody would've even cared about ZZ Top.

LOVE DRIVE is special. TOKYO TAPES has some wonderful moments. Under rated metal band from Germany.

Hello, the scorpions have been an awesome rock band since 1965, when Rudolf Schenker founded the band. through over 30 years Scorpions, from hannover Germany, have been recording and celling over 20 studio albums and touring the world to rock their fans like a hurricane...i have sat back and watched several musicans get inducted into your hall of fame and everytime there is a chance for us fans to vote for scorpions, they get ignored..its very high time time that our Scorpions get inducted into the Hall Of Fame....here come read their forum at

Simply one of the Best Rock bands of all TIME. Their new release Humanity-Hour 1 is their best album in a long time. HH1 is AMAZING from beginning to end. Every song on it is KILLER ! If you don't own it yet go get it. You will not be disappointed.

scorpions is the only group that started in 1965 and still existing in this period of time...If there is changes of the band members but not the vocalist which is the best thing to consider..There is continuity of klaus meine and rudy from four consecutive era's.....Also scorpions knows not only to rock but ballad as well....

Love the Scorps. I wish them luck, don't see it happening, but a vote for Deep Purple is a vote for rock.

These guys can write any kind of song well. They came all the way from Germany, and had to prove themselves before becoming famous. They've paid their dues, time for their enterance. If not for being the best band from Germany, at least for the Song Wind of Change, that alone should do it...

Actually I will surprise people and say the Scorpions were a good heavy metal band. They always had a good sound musically although in a lot of cases their lyrics were weak. But better than Kiss's lyrics. That's for sure. Im not sure if they deserve to be in. Im on the fence.

If we are talking Pre 1980 Scorpions then I give 5 Stars. Two stars for the 80's version. The Scorpions of the 70's rocked. Led by Michael Schenker debut at age 16 on the classic album Lonesome Crow. Then came gutarist Uli Jon Roth and the Scorps released some classic 70's R&R Albums such as In Trance Virgin Killer Taken By Force Fly To The Rainbow & the Classic Live Tokyo Tapes These are the REAL Scorps!

Scorpions weren't even that well known compared to some of the other artists out there, and it is supposed to be the Hall Of *FAME*.

Scorpions should already be a part of the hall of fame in my opinion, they earned it long ago, i would like to know why u2 got in and not the Scorpions, who does the nominations i want to know, how they are chosen!! Keep Rockin!! Arizona luvs Scorpions
