They are without a doubt the best soul group not in the RRHOF. I defy anyone to go back and listen to their work from the 70's and tell me they are not deserving of induction. This is what happens when you fail to honor a deserving group of artists in the appropriate time frame. Does anyone seriously think, given the current state of music, that anyone will come along and be greater than the Spinners? I think not!!!! Put them in yesterday!!!!

should have been in the Hall long before Chic was ever rejected 6 times.

Much more of a Motown R&B group...

Can't see any reason in the world not to let them in. They were a dominant force on the Billboard charts during the 70s although their style leans more toward soul or pop than rock.

Had no idea the Spinners were not already in. I had the privilege of meeting them around 1980 or 1981 when they performed for about a week at a local hotel's 'performance venue.' I found them to be warm and charming. I love their music to this day!!

If their contempories, The O Jays, can get in based a couple of great singles but not much else, then the Spinners should be there too!

These guys are among the 4 or 5 most desrving artists who are not yet in the Hall Of Fame.

After the TEMPS TOPS ISLEYs O'Jays These guys are a stone cold lock. More durable and creative than most R&B acts of the 1960-2 and 1970's.

i love phillipe wynn's voice, he takes me back with songs like love dont love nobody and of course, rubberband man, that's my son's favorite song. i really miss his singing because he sings like he's taking you home to the country like the biographical, sadie. now if any ass told about those damn ch-lites with that damn cop bribing marshall thompson, will get their head cleaned off. this is a fan of the spinners, and i will make a international fan website and club. thanks. nicole denise, cfas, goldsboro,n.c.
