Anyone who calls Quo a "one-hit wonder" is woefully ignorant. And they ought to be rightfully embarrassed.

To put Status Quo in the Hall would just be putting in a generic hard rock band - and people everywhere here criticise bands who if any book at all is wright were much more significant.

Ledgends!! Status Quo are second to no-one, and who cares if the critics dont like them. This band is only seen at their best LIVE!!!

they should be!!! Big ALL over the world EXCEPT the USA. That should tell you something!!! Ok they dont sell in the USA. they have sold over 110 Million units worldwide. they play to 6000-10000 venues for weeks at a time in the USA with no airplay and no support from the record company. they pack out stadiums and headline festivals in mainland europe. the have the most british hit singles ever at 61( 62 if you include they current single which is at no 11) more than the beatles, the stones etc UK HIT SINGLES - as of dec 2004 1. widely known and respected in England and probably known amongst the rock elite here. otherwise this long-going band is virtually unknown, especially in the states. Dont see it happening.
