"Motor City Madman" has got to be one of the best live acts ever. Can't imagine coming away from one of his shows disappointed or bored...

Motor City MadMan. A true guitar hero, not much he can't do with a guitar and one f the most outspoken artists next to Bono of U2. Ted many not share the same message as Bono but atleaste he stands up for what he belives in

One of the biggest rock acts of the 70s. Nugent deserves to get in, but I agree that he probably never will.

What Rock is all about!! A pioneer!!

Uncle Ted is one of the best rock guitarists ever. He should have been inducted day one, for greats like "Wang Dang Sweet Poontang", "Wango Tango" and "Little Miss Dangerous" (all great dinner music pieces!)

I am sadly disappointed to see a pattern of liberals hating the nuge in general....whereas with non political musicians you will find a more mixed political fan base, here it seems to be a classic example of a political party hating all who differ in their parties stance/or opinions... i am independent by the way....i can see some good in both parties...i see john fogerty as a good politically opposite example of the nuge and i would never condemn his talents because he is brave enough to take a stance in his lyrics....i respect either artists right to express themselves and both performing artists mentioned here are great! I bet ted and john don't hate each other and wouldn't condemn each others musical abilities because they possess opposite political views, would they?

Locve his debut LP, moments after that. Fine player but HALL, no.

I predict that he will never get in. The leftos control the entry mechanism and Ted does not meet their standards being pro-hunting and pro-gun. If you aren't a lemming, lock-step liberal, you have a hard time in the "arts" today!

You have to let the motor city mad man in he, in his own way, defines Rock and Roll.

His debut album is one of the greatest of all time. It was a slow decline into hades after that.

For what? "Stranglehold"? The trailer-park Hall-of-Fame, perhaps. . .

White trash loser.

Good guitarist but as the other poster stated, a bad lyricist. And then that crap with Damn Yankees! Putrid!
Dbaf 05/10/2005

Give the Nuge credit...Great solo's in concert...If he doesn't get in the Hall, the committee should all be put in a Stranglehold, baby!

Ted could be brilliant at times, but unfortunately his songwriting skills sucked.
