09/29/2004 | I don't think it was significant that France, Germany and Russia did not support the war. The coalition of the willing does (remarkably) miss their participation, although it hasn't spared any of them from their own subsequent brushes with terrorism, for their objection to the invasion. What principle was it they stood on, again? Each has been sinking into its own level of international insignificance for several years.

03/21/2004 | And don't forget Lars the Polish jeep driver...The 2,000 Morrocan mine defusing monkeys were recalled recently, but the good news is that we just won the support of the island of Vanatu who has committed a small fleet of canoes to the Coalition of the Willing.
