12/15/2004 | Bush and his legion of idiots just love the economy. Everything is fine. . .oh, that's right, bankrupcies are at an all-time high, forclosures are at an all-time high, employment percentages are misleading because of the quality of jobs. . .had enough or do you want more of the worst job market that anyone can remember? (Update 12/04) Economy still sucks. . .had enough or are you still thirsty for more?

09/30/2004 | Canada, the worst job market I can remember was 1978, and it was thanks to Jimmy Carter. The unemployment rate is at 5.4%, lower than when Clinton was re-elected, touted (then) as the lowest unemployment rate in 30 years. Profits are up and, if you care about jobs, you're getting what you want.

02/03/2004 | This reminds me of a scene from an old Jet Li movie. Jet says to the master The object in martial arts is to beat the opponent the master replies The best way to beat an opponent is to use a gun, the goal of martial arts is to improve the health of your body and soul (or words to that effect). Similarly I think those who think the object of the economy is simply to increase profits are missing the point as well. The best way to increase profits is to use slave labour.
