Led Zeppelin never rocked harder than on this tune and on the Presence albumm which coincidentally is the only Led Zeppelin album with no acoustic guitar

Tightly structured, because the roots, though virtually unrecognizable here, are based in the driving beat of Moroccan and Spanish music gleaned from Plant's travels there. But lyrically, the song contains an amalgam of literary references. Certainly reference to Achilles, but also to Albion from William Blake, and to Atlas. In fact, they were slipping in Atlas as a double reference: the Atlas mountains, and the mythological figure. Though the excesses of this band were famous, they were quite literate.

The guitar solos are among the best Jimmy Page ever recorded and there is such an emotional depth to the guitar playing. It was recorded late in their career so it is not as well known or accessible as most of the classics, but there are rewards for checking it out.
