 | texasyankee (21) 06/29/2005 | They provide food, and I believe they naturally turn the soil, the way they like to dig with their snouts. That's more helpful to the environment than to man in particular. I heard they can be trained, I have a friend who once had a pig who thought he was a dog, and would take him hunting everywhere. Sounds funny but might have been a pretty decent hunter, since most animals being hunted probably don't suspect a pig to do the hunting ;)
