11/26/2006 | Pigeons are very intelligent birds who can find their way home no matter where they are. This made them crucial instruments of communication during WWII. Many of them were used by the Allies to carry crucial battle or spy information when radios would fail, and in many cases they helped save lives. These animals certainly do not get the respect they deserve. The only ones responsible for pigeons becoming plague like in cities, are dirty people who litter.

06/30/2005 | Ever heard of carrier pigeons? They were used during the First World War to carry messages from one side of the battlefield to the next, especially where radio lines didn't exist. See, even these 'rats with wings' had their purpose...

01/31/2004 | These birds fly over my car and try to hit it with their fecal matter. I guess they're trying to prevent me from seeing the horrors of the outside world by covering my windshield in a layer of feces.

01/28/2004 | Depends on the moment--when I'm feeding them at the park, they're kinda nice. When they're using my car as a public toilet, then they're not so fun. Nevertheless, they do a service to man by eating a lot of our garbage (not as much as seagulls, but still).
