06/09/2008 | Same as chocking, drowning is accompanied by panic and terror. It takes several minutes for death to occur, but if the drowning person actually "inhales" water, it is usually painless.

03/27/2008 | This would be the best way to go. The best part about death is the experience and if you drown you get to look it in the eye. You fight, and struggle, but eventually realize that you cant win and you must accept your fate. Chemicals in the brain are released and you have a nice trip. Only a coward would want to die in his sleep.

07/31/2007 |  I have almost drowned before, its very painful... to imagine, take having water go down the wrong pipe, then you vomit because your inhaling too much water. Then your trying to hold your breath, but then it feels like someone is punching you in the gut while your trying to hold it. When it happened to me I first paniced, then my adrenaline kicked in, but i was too far out sea. Its only when you accept that its your time is when its peaceful, because its like your brain just tells you "Thats enough man, its time for the next ride". Then i remember a calm feeling over your body, like your in space and blissfully numb. I then start seeing the past go through my head. And then i felt wonderful, like a new man, stronger, wiser like i was superhuman the water left me and i felt like i was in the sky, it made me feel that death in all its morbid ways was beautiful, like a test to endure pain, and be eternaly rewarded. then i feel this bone splitting pain. then i cough and its like i was thrown from the sky back into the water, and i wake up looking at a coast guard. My body was racked with pain, I have bad joints, and i lost some of my memory. just let me tell you, that its very painful, but when your body and soul agree on death its a feeling that cant be described by text.

05/20/2007 | This seems like an awful way of dying but i have heard that it is the most peaceful way of dying and the way of 'seeing light' at the time of death. I do not know how this would be possible to find out as noone really knows until the time has come. Anyway, its not very nice to think about!
