I remember this game well. If not mistaken, didn't Buffalo do a quarterback change? But you could tell then it was what, 28-3 Oilers, there was a momentum change. I had a gut feeling the entire game that the Bills would come back. Of the thousands I've watched over the years, it is one of those games I remember well.

Yeah, I really thought the Oilers were the team to beat in the AFC but afterwards I thought Buffalo will not to this to dallas, and the Cowboys destroyed the Bills in the Super Bowl. This game just killed the Oilers in Houston.

How many other teams have come back from a 32 point deficit?!

My memory of the specifics of the game, but I do know this, it was one of the most important games of my life, as I watched every second of it! Great job by both teams, and the most awesome game I ever saw.

Like many of you, I turned this game off before I turned it back on (my friend called me with the 'you gotta see this' voice) and thus I will not give it 5-stars. . .(The Miami V San Diego playoff game gets 5) but this comeback was one of the most amazing football games ever. . .how many years did it take for the Houston franchise to recover? (The 'Titans' did eventually make a SB appearance. . .)

Wow, what a game. Certainly the greatest game I never saw - only heard. The game didn't sell out and living in Toronto saw me affected by the TV blackout. God Bless Van Miller ("This is Van Miller....BIGboard sports!!") who did a fantastic job on the radio. There was something poetic about the game, the blackout, Reich coming into the game. Truly it showed the champion heart of the team that would never be champions.

Kelly and Thomas are out. Backup Frank Reich the owner of the greatest comback in college football is faced with the same task in the NFL Playoffs. Down 28-3 to start the second quarter Buffalo gets the ball and turns it over for a long defensive INT and TD. Down 35-3 Buffalo fans start to realize their Superbowl streak is over. With a little over half of the third quarter left, Buffalo, who got humiliated by the same Oiler team just the week before does the unthinkable. Two games later Buffalo becomes only the third wildcard team to reach the Superbowl and the streak continues. Frank Reich- not Montana, Elway, Favre, Marino or even Kelly owns BOTH the greatest NCAA and NFL comebacks of all time. And I was there.
