the shoe was built when UC basketball was down. fans were just thrilled to have the team on campus again, and it was nice for its time, just nothing great. under Bob Huggins our team  became a national powerhouse and we were about to build a new arena when our dumbass president fired him. now we suck again and plans for a new, larger and nicer arena dont really make sense at the moment. i believe Bearcat basketball will be strong again and the the school will build a new, top notch arena.

One of the worst college basketball arenas I have ever been to. More than half the seats are in the upper deck. Some sections don't face the court. Certain sections (in the end zone) only offer views of half the court. the lower arena is push back bleachers which violently rock and shake when people move around.

Im a big Bearcat fan and I think this is a pretty good facility. It has some good things about it and some bad things. Its not as bad as some people are writing but it can be bad. Cincinnati does sell out about every game, the rafters do not get in the way of the scoreboard. But it is in a terrible neighborhood and it is a small arena. But its decent overall.

Smaller than a team ranked so highly over the years should have. But they don't fill it. It is a very hard walk up a hill to get from the main parking lot into the facility. They have no means of helping those who need it. Handicapped parking is on the hill as you go up. The endzone has bench seating instead of chair back seats. They sell alcoholic beverages during the UC games so peoople seem pretty happy.

The seating structure needs renovating, but it gets really loud in there, and the court itself is fantastic.

An utter dump. It's basically a large box masquerading as a basketball arena. To top it off, it's located in a high crime zone. Don't drive a nice car into that hood.

The parking at the Shoe is awful, and if you are at the top of the arena, you have to stand up, and look under the rafters to see the scoreboard. The fans rarely sell the place out, and the coach is a raging alcoholic who pukes on his own car.
