OK, to say it is the best game ever, maybe not. But I've watched thousands of NFL games as a fan in my life and the games that I remember are like this one. I was living in New Orleans and pulling for my wife's home state, Tennessee. I had a friend who is a Buffalo fan on the phone with me at that very moment and I remember distintively telling him, we still have 16 seconds, we still have 16 seconds. He was like, so when are we settling our bet. Lo and behold...the Music City Miracle. I heard nothing on the other end of the line. Even today he claims it was an illegal forward pass. Computer technology has proven it was a latteral. Just that dispute is why it is fun watching this type of game. The best ever? Not. But highly one of the best last minute plays ever.

It wasn't that great a game,just a good,close one,that went down to the wire,and had a wild,controversial finish.It was really all Wade Phillips' fault.He called TO with 15 seconds left,to set up the Bills go-ahead FG,to set up the "miracle".He must have panicked,or something,and stopped the clock prematurely.In such a situation,you run the clock down,to only 2 or 3 seconds left,so that,wether or not the kicker makes the FG,it's the last play of the game,and the other team doesn't get the KO,and the chance to pull off running the KO back for a possible(If against the odds) TD.Makes sense,right?But Wade Phillips blew it.

With the Titans down by one in a playoff game vs. Buffalo, tight end Frank Wycheck caught the kickoff and threw a lateral across the feild to Kevin Dyson, who returned the ball 75 yards for a touchdown with 3 seconds left on the clock. An amazing play, and an absolute heartbreaker for the Bills, who had already started celebrating.
