Kyra did an amazing job when the Hezbulleh (sp?) vs Isreal war broke out on her watch. She fielded every piece of breaking news with a calm urgency. Congratulations on this great job.

When a newsanchor on the most prominent news network on Earth uses the term : "Rightwing Commie" in such a way as to indicate a complete ignorance on what the right versus left wings of politics are we should all be very concerned.

For those that don't know, to be "right wing" is the opposite of being a "commie". Commies are extreme left wing. Thus, a "right-wing commie" is an impossible identity. It is the same as referring to yourself as a nazi-democrat or a tolerant racist.

There is no excuse for that level of social or political ignorance. Prominent journalists MUST be intelligent and/or educated enough to understand the basic poltical terminology to even begin to grasp the underlying viewpoints.

Kyra ia an anchor who "shares" her own views all too readily, she does not bring any objectivity to the news - which begs the question, what is she doing sitting in an anchor seat? CNN used to be a source of news for me but with anchors like Kyra and as well with Anderson Cooper replacing a real anchor like Aaron Brown, I am viewing elsewhere. Anderson is a correspondent/reporter, not an anchor.

Kyra Phillips needs a course in remedial (television) journalism. She might begin by watching old clips of Bernie Shaw covering breaking news. In the meantime, if I want accurate, unbiased news (without her repeating government spin verbatim), I'll boot up the internets.

During the Katrina hurricane, she was in jeans, wearing a ballcap, and no makeup... she is not very hot. I'm surprised how different a person looks in a studio with good lighting and makeup. Also, she can be silly and unprofessional sometimes, just before a serious story.

Cute and perky! Kyra comes across with that girl next door charm nicely meshed with a hint of tomboyish spirit. She can probably talk about sports and military weaponry better than the next guy! Smart, personable and very likeable. A big smile that lights up the camera, delicious! Kyra is the type of woman that exhumes sex appeal without that over whelming feeling. I love it when she wears the glasses! Mmmmmmmmmmm!!

Excellent!!! She should be hired to host AM shows on any of the big networks (ABC, CBS, NBC). Since Ted Turner left CNN nothing seems to go right; let Kyra anchor solo, please hide Miles in the closet!

Seems very real, I like her persistance but, she also seems like a sweetie. She sounds a little defeated by some of the goofy animal stories CNN does and it is a riot watching her and Myles riffing/bantering.

This girl is on fire! She's insightful and most importantly, she's tough! I enjoy watching her on CNN. There is nothing I see that she needs improvement in. Just keep up the good work and I do know that great things will pour from this young lady in the years to come. I'll keep watching!
