Rontra Freight has a contract with IKEA in Portland for IKEA's home delivery service. However, despite IKEA's contract stating that the delivery will be made to the designated room, Rontra DOES NOT HONOR the contractual statement. They WILL NOT carry boxes up or down stairs. They will put your purchase in a garage or in the first room entered into your house. Though, some may view this as an issue with IKEA. My the time youre aware of the issue, its too late. Rontra will hold your items hostage on their truck until you cave in and agree for them to simply dump your items in the first room. If you dont agree, they will return your items to IKEA, you will not get a refund on delivery payment, and you will either be forced to pay a re-delivery fee or transport the items via other means. BUYER BEWARE.
