I'm guessing that he got the job because Ed McMahon and Arsenio had already committed to other projects. Tony Reali is a small, desolate island floating in a sea of mediocrity.

Tony Reali is a terrible host at times. He mutes people and makes stupid assumptions several times throughout the show and constantly has the viewer second guessing his sports knowledge judging ability. Please find someone else who knows a little bit more about sports and can review opinions better than this guy. Max Kellerman wasn't the best at doing that I agree, but he was certainly better at it than Tony is.

Tony Reali is the reason I no longer watch Around the Horn.

Max is good for boxing but he is everything Negative that Kellerman Fanboys say about Reali. Tony Reali is the host and does not display a lack of knowledge of any sport. When on TV, he corrects or penalizes the Debaters when topics are discussed. How can anyone do this show unless they are not Sports Educated. Read his Bio, he went through college, he did broadcasting and he was even a debater on the ATH for a while. Anyone that can remember numbers and stats is a blessing in the Sports world. That is why we are talking about him. I like him and people are jealous of his Hosting on ATH from his Stat boy days. I never watched Max Kellerman when he was doing the ATH show. I accidentally stumbled upon this show at the beginning of this year and grew very fond of the show and its cast. I thought ESPN was starting to be like MTV where they would get away from the qualities that made them good channels to watch. This show is the best daytime event on. Reali may be looked at as an A-Hole or a retard or whatever, but I bet the people that say those type of comments are the same.

i'm sure that all the Kellerman fans out there are going to hate Reali, and probably keep bashing him. but thats because you all suck just as bad as Kellerman did. that's why Reali is still host of ATH, and the I,Max show - sucks. Reali is an awesome host. Keep it up, Stat-boy!

Stat Boy sucks, he's almost as bad as Mariotti. Please bring back Kellerman, Max and Woody made the show great, it was my favorite show, now I watch it once a week or less.

Tony Reali is a must see every time he's on - very goodlooking and pleasing on the eye too.

toni reali is no bust. He doesnt need to know all of the history because for one, hes not on the show hes the host. They talk current issues and what not so i think hes a great host and knows mainly what hes talking about. He gives points good too.

i tape rome,ath, and pti every day( in leau of reading the newspaper, and for the entertainment). the other day tony was talking about the new dress code in the nba and he said "in the entire history of the nba, "in the last 20 years", the league has belonged to the players". his rap at times makes no sense. his lack of historical knowledge is ghastly. his lack of respect for the "old days" is horrible. but what bothers me the most, is that with the intelligent reporters on that show, his attempt to keep up with them is embarrassing for him.he is just NOT very bright. max could hold his own. tony cant. he will be forever stat boy, but host? i dont think so.

I think Tony Reali is a great host. ATH horn is like my fav show now!!! He is also really cute too :o) The show isn't at all boring and as a woman I now find sports more interesting. Tony Reali can call me any day...

After Max Kellerman left the show I thought it was dead. Tony Reali started filling in for Max while Max was having contract issues with ESPN. At the beginning I thought Tony was kinda just too nice and dull. Well over a year later now, I think Tony came into his own and is a much better host then Max EVER was.

tony is the greatest host of anything ever!! all the guys that hate him hate him because he's hot, smart, and gets to talk about sports for a living. he has the dream job and guys hate him for that. he is extremely good and if it wasn't for him and woody i would never watch the show! TONY IS HOT!

I think he's doing a fine job. Took some time getting used to seeing him instead of Max. He's pretty witty(not quite as funny as Kellerman though).

i always have to admire a young person doing their thing with a sweet job. i love the show, i think tony does a great job with the panelists, and you have to respect the rapport he has with them. he maintains the pace of the show, and it's exactly what it's supposed to be...competitive banter. his jokes may not be that good all the time but 1) no one's are and 2) he acknowledges the really bad ones. last but not least, he's hot, which is probably why so many guys hate on him ;)

tony is great! i stay up late to watch the show in the uk and absolutly love it. tony is witty and directs the usually excitable panalists in a way that gets the answers we re looking for . great work guys the uk loves ya. great show, great host

C'mon guys, we can't hate Tony Reali for being handsome. That isn't fair. Neither is it fair to hate on him because he was once only the stat boy on PTI. Look, he got promoted to ATH host because he deserves it, and obviously knows his stuff. The same people that hate Reali, are the same people that would respect the man if only they had to step in his shoes for one day, and face the kind of pressure that he does. Can you really imagine being as young as Tony, and having that much responsibility? Please. Believe in ESPN and their decision to promote Reali to ATH host. We are going to second guess a decision by ESPN, the leader in sports for 25 years? This is an organization that has succeeded to say the least. And give ESPN props for promoting form within- giving Tony the ATH seat, that is. I hope ESPN has bigger and better things in mind for Mr. Reali- co-hosting ESPN news. I look forward to the day!

I Think it is a great show, it might be because I think Tony Reali is hot. Besides that I really like to listen to the panelists opinions, with having my own they help me conclude the right way of approaching the matter at hand. Tony seems to have good information, and did I mention he was hot???

Everytime I watch around the horn, I don't see T. Reali, I see STATBOY. He's just an assistant to Wilbon and Kornheiser who lucked out getting his own show probably because ESPN could'nt get anybody else to host it. Even though Kellerman was obnoxious, he was a good fit for the show, had more presence, and knows more than statboy. With Reali as host, the panelists ramble on and on while Reali just sits there. Reali seems like a good guy, just not a good host for this show.

In case you have not noticed Statboy sucks he has no camera presence and tries to hard to be Max his jokes suck and he does not have the same chemistry with the regulars that Max had. He hardly knows what he is doing watch how much he struggles when the show heads to commercial and then at 6:00 p.m. turn it to Fox Sports and watch I,Max and how Bill Wolff handles himself when the show heads to commercial watch how Bill Wolff and Max Kellerman exchange shots and how Wolff still manages to pull everything off in a professional manner and it does not take that much talent to push a lever and read the prompter yet statboy still seems to struggle at I miss Kellerman on ATH and it is not going to be the same with statboy being the host...Thank god that Kellerman got his own show on Fox Sports or I would only have PTI to get me through the day. p.s. Statboy is still great on PTI which is why he gets two stars instead of one

Statboy is extremely smart, confident and knows what he is doing. Plus, he is sooo sexy and good looking, one of the main reasons I watch the show.

I got scared when I saw the Dream Job loser hosting a few shows, but it looks like Reali just went on vacation. Knows more about sports than any of the panelists and does a good job reigning them in when they go nuts. His voice was annoying to start, but it's beginning to grow on me.

Tony Reali is absolutely gorgeous and I love watching him on ATH. He is the best. Him and Woody together make the show enjoyable. Id marry Reali in a heartbeat!!!!!

I must admit I'm usually not a big fan of Sport News...but not only does Tony Reali know his stuff, but from a female point of view, he is the hottest thing on ESPN. Gives me a reason to watch the show. :)

I watch Around the Horn because of Mr. Reali. I never got to see Mr. Kellerman as the host, so I have no opinion for comparison. But I think Reali knows his stuff and is more than adept at keeping up with his panel. He seems personable, enthusiastic and charming. I think he is doing a great job!

Ok first of Tony is really hot so thats always a plus, second of all this guy knows so much about ALL sports it is ridiculous!! He is fair to all the guys even Woody who is a moron and hes a Yankees fan which makes him even hotter! Tony is way more enjoyable to watch than Max and makes the show 100x better!! May I mention that he looks unbelievably hot as Stat Boy on PTI when he takes off his tie and jacket and unbuttons his shirt? But seriously this guy is a statistic maniac!!

Let's be honest. Stat boy is eye candy in a show that desperately needed it. The only bad thing about him being the host are the substitute stat boys in PTI. They make me and my girlfriends cry.

Where in the rules does it say you get 1 pt for an answer? He is ruining what max kellerman started.He should go back to PTI where i only see him for 10 seconds, because thats all the air time he should get. I love you MAX.

Sharp, quick and keeps the show balanced and focused. Has really developed a good rapport with the guys in his short time as host.

Max Kellerman leaves, and the show doesn't suffer at all. Stat Boy picks up the slack nicely, and he knows his sports, even stuff that should be before his time.

Obviously Tony is smarter than the competition and the writers whose opinions he has to moderate.

Stat Boy has been very good. He lets the writers be the stars of the show - but does a terrific job at adding his two cents at the end of every topic. He's gotten a lot more comfortable on air with each show he's done... and he's confident but not cocky (like the last guy).
