Today was the last straw for me watching the Big Ten tourney and listening to Packer. CBS...please take us all out of our misery and fire him immediately. He is ruining the game!!

Packer is the biggest fu*#ing idiot on the face of the earth!

. . .the mask is coming off. The way Packer tells it, every coach is some kind of genius.

He continues his dreadful performance this year. I like the ACC, and two of its teams, but each year Billy loves to gush about the same players all year long. Packer equals the mute button for me. I try and make it a point not to buy products advertised when he is announcing, lest I contribute to his delinquency.

He knows his stuff, which is good for the Final Four, but Billy doesn't think there can be a Final Four without Billy. He is too in to some of the games, and all he does is complain. They're just kids, Billy. Let's see you go out there and play a perfect game!

I like Packer the guy is a legend. Packer isn't the only analyst who shows some love for his home conference. Him and Jim Nantz are the number 1 team for a reason.

Duke, Duke, Duke! According to Billy they can do no wrong and everbody else, including the refs, can do no right! I shreik when I see he is the commentator!

i hate billy packer, hate hate hate, I'm all about the acc which ppl have said he favors but quite frankly i think he has something bad to say about everyone and his commentary is always completely one sided.

F-U Billy Packer. Calling JR Giddens worthless on CBS. Totally bush-leauge. The kid is like 19 years old. Can't wait until Packer has to call the Kansas national championship victory in a couple weeks...

The trouble with Packer is very revealing to us in the ACC Area. He was a piece of s*** when attending Wake Forest and hasn't changed one inch after.

Billy Packer, is absolutely, without a doubt the most overrated, obnoxious, self-important know-it-all college basketball sportscaster ever. At times it is completely unbearable to listen to his commentary. For those that must work with him it must be excruciatingly painful for them. How this blowhard has maintained his broadcast position all these years is a mystery to everyone but those bubblehead TV execs that hire him. Please, would someone ask him to shut up once in a while or to at least admit that perhaps on occasion he may have been incorrect?

Billy knows the game better than any living announcer. As a Kentucky fan, I used to think he leaned too far toward his beloved ACC, but during the last decade he has been unbiased and refreshingly frank in his analysis!

I dont know how Billy Packer is still employeed by CBS! Are they crazy?? He has got to be the worst college basketball commentator employeed by anybody at the present time. He has no clue what he is talking about to the point where when I am watching a game and he is announcing I have to mute it. It is a damn good thing you can watch a college basketball game on MUTE. I would also like to know what his problem is with UK. He says he doesnt have a problem with the fans or team but it is obvious he does. When Patrick Sparks drew the foul to win the U of L game, all Packer wanted to say was how he walked. Well, if he did walk, it was Louisville's hoe refs who let it slip, and he still hit all 3 free throws in the clutch. How can you hate a team with one of the best coachs in the nation in Tubby Smith. I think Billy Packer is confused, someone needs to help him out.

Just doing my part to convice the world that Billy Packer is an idiot. He is the most negative broadcaster in college basketball...they should put him on NBA games to see if he and Bill Walton can out-gripe each other.

How is this guy still employed by CBS, or any broadcasting company for that matter. All his does is criticize this kids everytime they miss a shot. Although he does wait to see if the shot goes in first, and if it doesn't go in he says, What a terrible shot, and if it goes in he says, What a great shot. He also always questions the coaches coaching philosophy like he thinks he knows what the team should be doing stategically better than the actual coaches. He is also very arrogant. Did you see him get into with St. Joes coach last year criticizing the coach for playing a soft schedule and being a number one seed, what an ass.

This man is a horrific announcer who contends that he is an expert on college hoops. He is not. CBS needs to send him on his way.

Over the years Billy Packer has received a lot of flak for his college basketball analysis; however, in hindsight, his observations are actually more accurate and meaty than his contemporaries. He has also greatly improved over the years. While those like Vitale have gotten very old and tired, Packer remains relevant.

Awful. Bad cliches. Please don't do anymore college basketball games in March. They are sooooo dreadful. I dread the next game that you do in March. Get better cliches. Just a bit better. Please!!! He blows calls too. He can fix it up a million times better.

Is it possible to rate this lower? I am talking a negative 10...this man missed his calling and should be a Mime in a dark room of deaf people.
