Brian Gumbel was useful for something. I am pretty sure CBS pick Greg Gumbel because they had Brian Gumbel. While Brian Gumbel was lousy and unprofessional, Greg is highly skilled and qualified for the College Basketball Studio. He asks the right questions, says the right things, and is always at the top of his game. For me, March Madness without Greg Gumbel in the Studio is inconceivable.
