Amazing arena, especially since Tubby Smith came to town.Unique raised court. Extremely loud for both mens and womens games. A classic college basketball experience not to be missed

A true classic that is full of the old-school charm you'd want in a college basketball arena. Unfortunately, the raised floor is extremely dangerous and it pains me to watch players break arms and shoulders after falling an extra three feet trying to chase the ball.

As good as it gets. Thankfully it wasn't demolished, as the football stadium was 15-20 years ago. Even if it's not full, there are few places that can match it. Women's b-ball crowds are louder, because there are fewer entrenched fans, meaning those who have had seats forever.

Cool place. I walked down on the court and saw the team benches down below. It was cool.

Williams Arena(the Barn), is one of the classic old bb arenas. The raised floor makes it unique among bb arenas, and whether its mens or womens bb going on inside, the place just rocks.

Like Indiana's Assembly Hall, this is one of those courts that looks amazing on TV. Whenever you see Minnesota playing at home on ESPN, it looks like the place is wild. The fans seem to be right up on the court, and the noise level is deafening. The yellow and maroon (?) colors give it that college feel as well. I'd like to check it out live someday...
