 | jeffdog9000 (0) 04/18/2008 | Honestly, when this place is packed, and a championship is on the line...this place is so loud all you can hear is your thoughts. It will give you cold chills. You will leave here with a memory you won't ever forget. This place has so much history, yet it is very modern and new. It gives you a bright, cheery feeling that can not be described. If you have the oppurtunity, you won't be dissapointed!

 | knrstz (0) 02/24/2008 | Best arena ever been to. Although only 13,000, much taller than Walton arena which is around 20,000. Noise is deafening

 | Ross2020 (0) 05/22/2006 | You leave this place after a game and your ears will be ringing for the next 2 days. The place is so STEEP. All the fans are right on top of the court. There is nothing else in the world like it. Plus it is NICE. Best facility in all of college sports.

 | RMphan (0) 02/12/2006 | You won the national championship twice 60 years ago, get over yourselves and your shocklingly horrid arena. If you want to visit a real arena, drive to Fayetteville and be awe-struck by Bud Walton's gift to the state of Arkansas off of you rednecks shopping at Wal-Mart. Ahaha, hail Arkansas!

 | massah1571 (0) 09/27/2005 | This is by far the greatest venue to watch a college basketball game in. Even with the recent expansion, it is still the loudest arena in the country! Although tickets are not easy to come by, if you ever get the chance try to attend at least one game in your lifetime there! I promise you this...you will not regret it!

 | excelsior30 (8) 01/17/2005 | Truly a great place to see indoor sports after reinovation- it is even at a great place (close to stadium). -UPDATE:This edifice has such tradition that even Eddie Sutton is hereby honored on court here after passing Henry Iba in wins.- Great idea, why not two major sports all in one area? Brilliant!

 | Cowboyzcrazy21 (0) 01/01/2005 | Man, I went to my first OSU game at G-I and it was INSANE!!! It's soooo loud, its unbelivable! My sister had to carry her baby out of the arena, b/c it was to loud. Its BY FAR the greatest arena to watch a game at, i cant imagine how great it would be to play there!

 | trebordallas (0) 10/25/2004 | This arena has been spiffed up in the last year, but it is NOT one of the top arenas in the country. United Spirit Arena at Texas Tech is a far superior facility, along with several others in the Big 12. Those posting its praises are biased locals at OSU. Brag, brag, brag

 | Tusrom (0) 09/01/2004 | One of the most amazing places to watch a game. I've watched dozens of games there and Gallagher is the most intense atmosphere in College Sports.

 | bbfishin (0) 05/12/2004 | I was a student at KU and went to many games in Allen Field House. It was clearly a rush to be in there, but for loudness and school spirit posessing an Arena, Gallagher-Iba Arena far exceeds Allen Field House. My ears felt like they were going to explode after the 2004 OSU-OU game and the OSU-Kansas game. Few opponents will every get an opportunity to experience since seats will be sold out for decades to come.

 | OKState918 (0) 03/31/2004 | There is truly no better place to watch a basketball game in America. Not only is Gallagher-Iba one of the loudest arenas in the nation, but it has one of the richest heritage of any arena as well. Countless greats have graced its floor (which is the oldest original floor in the nation), and Oklahoma State's proud wrestling tradition can't be forgotten either.

 | Kent Layton (0) 03/02/2004 | Everyone says its not numbers, its intensity. I say why can't you have both? Why does it have to be one or the other? I've been to both and by far Allen Field House at Kansas University is superior in both intensity and numbers.

 | gwaoktn (0) 02/22/2004 | When I watch games on TV, I think it has the wildest atmosphere. It's not the numbers it's the intensity.

 | SoonerBobb (0) 10/14/2003 | By far the best place in the Nation to watch a game. The only reason poster thinks Tech has a good arena... is because its the best thing next to the Mall in Lubbock.
