
Forrest Allen coached several schools but is most noted for his time as head coach at Kansas where he compiled a record of 591-219(.730). Allen led his 1952 Kansas team to the national championship. He also helped found the National Assocation of Basketball Coaches(NABC) and became its first president. Allen finished with a 10-3 record in the NCAA tournament and reached 3 Final Fours.
