98 Rock truly represents Baltimore. The personalities on the show are very much into the local community, and the music is good ol' hard rock that the Baltimore working man loves. They mix a good amount of older rock with new stuff. The signal is great coming from 98 Rock, and I've picked it up from Northern Virginia all the way up into south Jersey. 98 Rock will always stay one of my main presets as long as I'm in the area.

I've been listening to 98 Rock since middle school; it's one of those stations that I automatically preset into any radio. It's been around for 28 years, and KML (Kirk, Mark & Lopez) has got to be my favorite morning show (it got me through my morning rush hour a hell of a lot easier). And you gotta appreciate Mandatory Metallica. Keep it coming, guys. UPDATE: I was seriously bummed when I came back into town today and heard that a little piece of Baltimore died; R. Edward Lopez, 1/3 of the 98Rock KML Morning show, passed away this morning from his battle with cancer. We knew it was coming for a little while now, but it's still a sad day for Baltimore.

98Rock is a great hard rock station with a dull morning show. The rest of the day is great though, and they definately are a Baltimore station in every way!
