I'm not much of a fan of easy listening music. WLIF plays the softest of soft rock, and a ton of cheesy love songs. This definitely isn't a station I stop on.

Yeah, this station could be best described as the stuff that you hear overhead in the doctor's waiting room, calm and soothing (perhaps to the point of insanity). But, if you're in the mood for soft, mushy love songs, they offer a pretty good nighttime program for that. They offer a pretty good variety (somehow, though, every time I pass by it they're playing something or another from Gloria Estefan, Bette Midler's Wind Beneath My Wings, or something chipper from the 70's). PS. If you like the same type of music, but this station doesn't do it for you, try to get 97.1 WASH FM; it's a DC station, same format, better variety.
