 | numbah16tdhaha (147) 04/15/2007 | If you can drink a few beers and perform better than if you were sober, it is not a sport. My brother averages 15 to 20 higher when drunk, so bowling is definetly not a sport, but rather a game.

 | LastMessenger3 (40) 08/23/2006 | Another leasure sport. I can't imagine seeing it on the same list as say football, basketball, soccer, tennis. This leasure sport depends more on technique and precision rather than physical activity and really hard effort.

 | X Factor Z (13) 08/10/2006 | I vote...sport, at least one of the best amusements for real guys and not the noveau luxury SUV-driving rich.

 | PlanetaryGear (52) 06/29/2005 | A pastime for most but a championship bowler would have to dedicate himself to his, um, 'craft' like any other athlete would. Requires legitimate skill. Loses a star because almost ANYONE can participate.

 | Redoedo (39) 03/30/2004 | I usually bowl for entertainment and just to hang out with my friends. There's really no sport involved here, and relatively no challenging physical activity.

 | Enkidu (37) 02/16/2004 | I spent a chunk of my childhood in Milwaukee where this was a REALLY big deal. Irishgit is right though, and it does take a lot of beer to make it interesting (and I assure you I remember no shortage of beer)

 | irishgit (138) 02/16/2004 | I guess it's a sport of sorts, but it doesn't exactly attract the buffest of athletes. Another event, that like darts and pool, is best played with a beer.
