You really cannot go wrong with plain old Crest for the value. The light blue color is the toothpaste I grew up with and it remains a reliable brand. It has a clean, minty fresh flavor and has long been accepted by the American Dental Association. I tend to prefer the cool mint gel flavor.

I love this original crest toothpaste, i only get it when its on sale, costs for everything here is high!!! i also love the cinnamon toothpaste of crest, but i can skip the whitening part, it tastes to me too strong, plus the whitening cause my lip area to become red like the tarter control toothpaste!! so i stick with my original crest!! i wish they brought back the original mint flavored crest from the early 80's, that one was great!! the toothpaste was light greenish blue in color, and the mint was mellow in flavor, that one was the best, i wish they can bring it back!!!
