Though this tequila is smooth in taste I don't think its worth the price. It doesn't have the kick that patron and up have and it is similar in price. Due to traffic issues and car trouble I found myself in a hotel with a bar and we drank a lot of this. I know I never did that many shots of patron and walked out before...however.....in its favor...it was quality enough to not give you the hangover. I generally don't drink tequila to get drunk like in the old days but must admit being stranded and having someone else buying did enhance the evening......I liked the taste and when I got home I compared it to other brands I buy. Was too expensive for me.

The Anejo is one of the best buys in Tequila at around $30.00 per bottle at Sam's club and trader Joes. I give this a high rating since it is good enough to drink straight and makes for an incredible margarita (please no Cuervo Margarita Mix!). I always have a bottle of this around. I wouldn't put it up there with the Don Julio or Herredura, but a great value.

These lists really should list the different varities separately (blanco, reposado, anejo).
