12/29/2004 | Technically, this was my first job. If the kids were well-behaved, babysitting was not bad. But if the kids acted up, it could be a pretty miserable experience.

12/29/2004 | A family freind asked me to baby sit her daughter. She was pretty cool, a little annoying at time, but an okay kid. She was pretty easy to watch though. Put Lion King on the T.V. and she was quiet for a good two hours. The bad thing though is I hate that movie now.

12/29/2004 | I guess this was technically my first job. I was 14 and I really hated it. It was boring, lonely and the kids I mostly sat for were kind of a pain. The youngest always threatened to throw up all the time. (My sister sat for them a few times and her answer to that was, go ahead, I'm not cleaning it up.) Later, I realized they were probably just acting up to get the attention their parents didn't seem to have the time to give them - since they were gone almost every weekend. I'm with you kolby1973, I wouldn't do this again unless I was starving.

07/12/2004 | The only time I enjoyed babysitting is when I watched my baby brothers growing up. Other than that, I absolutely detest this type of job and would never do it again. I wouldn't even do it for 20 dollars an hour. Hell no !
