This is why church and state should be separate....no matter what faith is in the majority.  Whether it's Catholicism or in this case, the "deified" Roman emperor.

Yes, it has really been rough on RIA today, oh, wait I see...2nd-4th century. Seriously, I really can not imagine how bad it must have been.
